The PCS Softstarter Controller is one of Sprecher + Schuh's solid-state controllers with rich features at an economical price. This softstarter is specifically designed to start 3-phase motors (up to 400HP@460V / 500HP@575V), but is very compact, easy to use and DIN-rail mountable for models up to 85A. Four standard starting modes are available. The PCS Controller offers a built-in overload relay, internal bypass contactor and a microprocessor controller that provides a smooth voltage ramp-up to full motor speed. Start modes include Soft Start and Current Limit Starting. Stop modes include coast-to-rest and a Soft Stop feature which ramps down high friction loads smoothly and eliminating sudden deceleration.

The PF Softstarter Controller provides intelligence, unmatched performance, flexibility, and diagnostics in a modular compact design for controlling either a standard squirrel-cage induction motor or a star-delta motor. PF models are available in 12 current models from 5...480A, 0.5...400HP @460VAC (900HP Y-D). Seven standard, and two optional starting modes of operation are available within a single controller. Sprecher + Schuh's CL7 & CL8 Ecombo and CK7 EcomboPlus are assemblies of KTA7 or KTC7 in combination with a CA7 or CA8 contactor for remote control which are cULus listed as a Type E/F, self-protected combination controller. CS7 and CS8 Industrial Control Relays share the same design as the CA7 and CA8 contactor ranges respectively. They are compact and designed for heavy-duty industrial control applications where reliability and versatility are essential. Interchangeable coils on the CS7 and CA7 lines mean less inventory. The CS7 is the standard relay with a general purpose UL rating of 25 amps. For more demanding circuits, the CS7-M general purpose UL rating is 30 amps. Sprecher + Schuh's L11 series of fused and non-fused disconnect switches comply with UL98 service entrance requirements and are NFPA 79 compliant. This family of rod-operated switches is suitable for applications that require small panel space and short circuit protection. Switches are available from 30A up to 1200A, and protect motors up to 500HP (@ 480V). The L11 may be installed on circuits capable of delivering up to 200,000A of short circuit fault current. The L11 is available in a Fusible and Non-Fused disconnect versions. Sprecher + Schuh's V7-W terminals are designed for ease of wiring, secure connections and durability. The line also offers a wide array of terminal types for most circuits and functions, from control to low-level power. V7 terminals come in a range of sizes and are rated to 600VAC (800V-IEC). They accommodate wire sizes from 30AWG to 500MCM (0.5mm2 to 240mm2 wire cross section).
