L9 Circuit Breaker Auxiliary Contacts vs. Signal Contacts
Question:
What is the difference between Auxiliary Contact L9-AMRA3 and a Signal contact block L9-AMRS3?
Answer:
The L9- AMRA3 has 1 set of Form C Auxiliary contacts. Auxiliary contacts are contacts that change state when the circuit breaker is operated either Manually (by hand) or Electrically. ( L9-AMRA3 Instruction Sheet)
The L9-AMRS3 has 1 set of Form C Signal contacts. Signal contacts are contacts that change state (from On to Off) only because of an Electrical (or tripped) operation. ( L9-AMRS3 Instruction Sheet)
