What Mounting Hardware is included with L11 Non-Fusible Disconnect Switches

Question:

What Mounting Hardware Is Included With L11-NU100, NU200, NU400, NU600, NU800 and NU1200 Non-Fusible Disconnect Switches? Are replacement parts available? What hardware do I use to mount the switch in an enclosure?

Answer:

The L11-NU100-1753 switch is shipped with the eight bolts (M10 x 25mm long), nuts and washers for connecting conductors with ring lugs to the busbars on the switch. Note - the same hardware bag is supplied two extra bolts, nuts and washers. The replacement hardware bag is part number L11-HF-200-4U.

The L11-NU200-1753 switch is shipped with the eight bolts (M10 x 25mm long), nuts and washers for connecting conductors with ring lugs to the busbars on the switch. Note - the same hardware bag is supplied with two extra bolts, nuts and washers. The replacement hardware bag is part number L11-HF-200-4U.

The L11-NU400-1753 switch is shipped with the 8 bolts (M12 x 30mm long), nuts and washers for connecting conductors with ring lugs to the busbars on the switch. Note - the same hardware bag is supplied with two extra bolts, nuts and washers. The replacement hardware bag is part number L11-HF-400-4U.

The L11-NU600-1753 switch does not ship with any hardware to attach a conductor to the busbars on the switch. There is no replacement hardware bag. See Note 1

The L11-NU800-1753 switch does not ship with any hardware to attach a conductor to the busbars on the switch. There is no replacement hardware bag. See Note 1

The L11-NU1200-1753 switch does not ship with any hardware to attach a conductor to the busbars on the switch. There is no replacement hardware bag. See Note 1

Notes

• Note 1 - because of the higher currents in the 600, 800 and 1200A switches, there are many types of conductors and connection methods possible. The 800 and 1200A switches are supplied with multiple holes in the busbars for these different types of connections. Because of the variety of connections, no busbar hardware is supplied. The smaller (100-400A) switches only have one hole in the busbar and have limited connection options, so busbar hardware is supplied as noted above.
• Note 2 - None of the above switches ship with hardware (bolts or screws) for attaching the switch to the enclosure mounting plate. These switches have four (9mm diameter) holes that are used for mounting them. This information is also on the dimensional drawings of the switch. The end user determines what type of bolt or screw they want to use and supplies it themselves.
