What mounting hardware is included with L11 Fusible Disconnect Switches, sizes 100 to 800 Amps
Sprecher & Schuh’s larger L11 Series Fusible Disconnect Switches includes some, but not all, required hardware, mounting bolts, or screws to mount the switch to the enclosure mounting plate. The end user will need to select the type of bolt or screw they want to use and purchase these parts separately from a hardware supplier.
Sprecher & Schuh does not sell repair parts or kits available to provide the required mounting hardware.
These switches have either 4 slots or 4 holes to mount the switch to the mounting surface. Dimensional and hardware requirements for these switches are listed below.
Requirements to Mount Disconnect Switch, Fuses and Lugs
L11-J100-1753 Switch Hardware
- Hardware to mount Class J fuses is included with the switch (6 bolts, 6 washers); fuse hardware is not available for sale as a repair part kit.
- Box lugs for conductor wiring are included; no requirement to source extra hardware.
- Switch includes four (4) slots, each is 5.5mm (0.218 inch) wide to mount the switch to the mounting surface.
L11-J200-1753 Switch Hardware
- Hardware to mount Class J fuses is included with the switch (6 bolts, 6 washers); fuse hardware is not available for sale as a repair part kit.
- Hardware is included to mount L11-TL1 lugs or to connect user supplied conductors with ring lugs to the switch. Hardware bag will include six (6) bolts (M10 x 16mm long) and six (6) washers.
- The switch includes threaded holes to mount lugs or conductors with ring terminals.
- The repair part number for the hardware bag for the M10 x 16mm long bolts and washers is part number L11-HF-250-3BDU. This kit includes two extra bolts and washers.
- Switch includes four (4) slots, each is 6.1mm (0.240 inch) wide to mount the switch to the mounting surface.
L11-J400-1753 Switch Hardware
- Hardware to mount Class J fuses is included with the switch (6 bolts M8 x 16mm long, 6 washers); fuse hardware is available for sale as a repair part kit part number L11-HF-400-3BU.
- Hardware is included to mount L11-TL5 lugs or to connect user supplied conductors with ring lugs to the switch. Hardware bag will include six (6) bolts (M10 x 35mm long), six (6) washers, six (6) nuts.
- The switch includes threaded holes to mount lugs or conductors with ring terminals.
- The repair part number for the hardware bag for the M10 x 16mm long bolts and washers is part number L11-HF-400-3BU.
- The switch includes mounting feet with 7mm (0.270 inch) and 9mm (0.350 inch) mounting holes.
- The switch includes a plastic cover over each of the mounting feet to provide insulation between the top of the bolt and the bus bar of the switch. This cover must be re-installed after the switch is mounted. See photo on right.
L11-J600-1753 Switch Hardware
- Hardware to mount Class J fuses is included with the switch (6 bolts M12 x 30mm long, 6 washers); fuse hardware is available for sale as a repair part kit part number L11-HF-800-3U.
- The hardware bag contains 2 extra bolts and washers as this is the same bag as is supplied with some 4 pole switches.
- The switch includes threaded holes to mount lugs or user supplied conductors with ring terminals.
- No hardware is included with this switch for the user to connect user supplied conductors with ring lugs to the switch.
- Users can choose to use L11-TL7 lugs with this switch; the lug kit will be supplied with the required mounting hardware.
- Switch includes four (4) slots, each is 8.9mm (0.350 inch) wide to mount the switch to the mounting surface.
L11-L800-1753 Switch Hardware
- Hardware to mount Class L fuses is included with the switch (6 bolts M12 x 30mm long, 6 washers); fuse hardware is available for sale as a repair part kit part number L11-HF-800-3U.
- The hardware bag contains 2 extra bolts and washers as this is the same bag as is supplied with some 4 pole switches.
- The switch includes threaded holes to mount lugs or user supplied conductors with ring terminals.
- No hardware is included with this switch for the user to connect user supplied conductors with ring lugs to the switch.
- Users can choose to use L11-TL7 lugs with this switch; the lug kit will be supplied the required mounting hardware.
